Some moderators who manage the Timeline section should at least wait for a few hours before voiding anyone's timeline update. Whenever news breaks, it isn't always possible to immediately obtain the official press release image of the order. This is because it isn’t made public right away and requires time to get the official copy. However, since it is a press release, all media channels and the official Twitter handles of the railways update the information to viewers before the public release of the official order.

Moderators often ask for the official press release and void those timeline updates without any further inquiry or explanation. Today, I updated the name of the Ahmedabad-Bhuj Vande Metro and Bhuj-Ahmedabad Vande Metro to Namo Bharat Rapid Rail, but I didn’t have the original press release. However, I did provide links to the official Twitter handle of the Honorable Railway Minister and the digital news links of some popular national media outlets. Despite this, the moderators (I won’t mention names) voided my timeline update. This has negatively impacted my profile, as my profile now shows that I have voided timeline updates.

These moderators didn’t even attempt to verify the information themselves. It feels like they are just voiding the timeline updates of general non-popular members, while they quickly confirm the timeline updates of more popular members of this forum without any further enquiry.

This is bringing unfair bias to this forum.
