ఎకరాల అప్పగింత దిశగా అడుగులుఆక్రమణలు లేవని జీవీఎంసీ అధికారుల నివేదిక



ఈనాడు, విశాఖపట్నం: విశాఖ కేంద్రంగా ‘దక్షిణ కోస్తా’ రైల్వే జోన్‌ ఏర్పాటుకు అడుగులు పడుతున్నాయి. జోన్‌ కార్యాలయ నిర్మాణానికి అవసరమైన స్థలాన్ని అప్పగించేందుకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం చర్యలు తీసుకుంటోంది. ఇటీవల సీఎం చంద్రబాబునాయుడు విశాఖ పర్యటనలో కీలక ప్రాజెక్టుల మీద సమీక్షించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా రైల్వే జోన్‌కు సంబంధించిన భూములు అప్పగించాలని కలెక్టర్‌ హరేంధిర ప్రసాద్‌ను ఆదేశించారు. ఆ తర్వాత ఈ ప్రక్రియ జోరందుకుంది. విశాఖ నగరంలోని చినగదిలి పరిధి ముడసర్లోవ వద్ద గతంలో రైల్వేకు కేటాయించిన భూములను జీవీఎంసీ, రైల్వే అధికారులు పరిశీలించారు. 52 ఎకరాల వాస్తవ స్థితిని పరిశీలించి.. హద్దులు నిర్ణయించి.. ఎటువంటి ఆక్రమణలు లేవని గుర్తించి జీవీఎంసీ అధికారులు నివేదిక సిద్ధం చేశారు. దీన్ని త్వరలోనే రైల్వేకు పంపించి బదిలీ ప్రక్రియ పూర్తిచేయనున్నారు.

రైల్వే అధికారులు ఆ స్థలాన్ని తీసుకునేందుకు సుముఖంగానే ఉన్నప్పటికీ వివాదాలను పూర్తిస్థాయిలో పరిష్కరించి అప్పగించాలని కోరుతున్నారు. గతంలో ఆ స్థలాన్ని కొందరు ఆక్రమించుకోగా వారందర్నీ ఖాళీ చేయించారు. అప్పట్లో రైల్వే అధికారులు దాన్ని స్వాధీనం చేసుకోడానికి వెళ్లగా వారి మీదే కేసులు పెట్టారు. వీటన్నింటినీ దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకొని పూర్తిహక్కులతో, ప్రహరీ నిర్మించి స్థలాన్ని అప్పగించాలని రైల్వే అధికారులు కోరుతున్నారు. ఈ స్థలంపై తొలుత రైల్వే కొంత విముఖత చూపింది. అయితే ప్రత్యామ్నాయ స్థలాలు విశాఖకు దూరంగా ఉండడం, జోన్‌ కార్యాలయం విశాఖకు దూరంగా ఉంటే బాగోదన్న ఉద్దేశంతో ముడసర్లోవలోనే ఏర్పాటుచేసేందుకు సిద్ధమవుతున్నారు.

మంత్రి అశ్వినీ వైష్ణవ్‌కు తెలిపిన ఎంపీ బాలశౌరిప్రతిపాదిత రైల్వే లైను నమూనా



ఈనాడు డిజిటల్, అమరావతి: మచిలీపట్నం- రేపల్లె రైల్వేలైను ఏర్పాటు చేస్తే దివిసీమ ప్రజల చిరకాల కోరిక తీరుతుందని రైల్వేశాఖ మంత్రి అశ్వినీ వైష్ణవ్‌కు మచిలీపట్నం ఎంపీ వల్లభనేని బాలశౌరి విన్నవించారు. మంగళవారం దిల్లీలో రైల్వేశాఖ మంత్రి అశ్వినీ వైష్ణవ్‌తో ఎంపీ బాలశౌరి సమావేశమై, మచిలీపట్నం లోక్‌సభ పరిధిలో ఉన్న పలు రైల్వే ప్రాజెక్టులకు నిధులు సమకూర్చాలని కోరారు. ‘ఇప్పుడున్న రైల్వే లైనులో మచిలీపట్నం నుంచి గుడివాడ, విజయవాడ మీదుగా తెనాలి చేరుకోవాలంటే సుమారు 145 కిలోమీటర్లు ప్రయాణించాలి. మచిలీపట్నం- రేపల్లె లైను ఏర్పాటైతే    రేపల్లె నుంచి 45 కిలోమీటర్ల దూరంలో ఉన్న తెనాలికి చేరుకోవచ్చు. దీనివల్ల దూరం తగ్గడంతో పాటు దివిసీమ ప్రజలకు రైలు సౌకర్యం ఏర్పడుతుంది. తెనాలి జంక్షన్‌కు చేరుకుంటే అక్కడి నుంచి చెన్నై, తిరుపతి, ఇతర ప్రాంతాలకు సులువుగా వెళ్లొచ్చు. తద్వారా పాటు విజయవాడ జంక్షన్‌పై భారం తగ్గుతుంది. గతేడాది రద్దు చేసిన మచిలీపట్నం - ధర్మవరం రైలును పునరుద్ధరించాలి. దీని ద్వారా తిరుపతికి వెళ్లే భక్తులకు సులువుగా ఉంటుంది. గుడివాడలోని వడ్లమన్నాడు, మచిలీపట్నంలోని చిలకలపూడి వద్ద రైళ్లను ఆపాలి. నరసాపురం రైల్వే లైను సర్వే కోసం అనుమతులు మంజూరు చేసినందుకు కృతజ్ఞతలు’ అని మంత్రికి తెలిపినట్లు బాలశౌరి ఓ ప్రకటనలో చెప్పారు. చిలకలపూడి, పల్లెపాలెం, బంటుమిల్లి, మాట్లాం మీదుగా రైల్వేలైను ప్రతిపాదనకు మంత్రి సానుకూలంగా స్పందించినట్లు ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.

మచిలీపట్నం నుంచి తిరుపతికి రైలు

మచిలీపట్నం (గొడుగుపేట), న్యూస్‌టుడే: ఎంపీ బాలశౌరి విజ్ఞప్తి మేరకు మచిలీపట్నం నుంచి తిరుపతికి రైలు ఏర్పాటు చేస్తూ రైల్వే ఉన్నతాధికారులు ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశారని మచిలీపట్నం స్టేషన్‌ సూపరింటెండెంట్‌ పామర్తి నాగేశ్వరరావు ఓ ప్రకటనలో తెలిపారు. ఈ సౌకర్యాన్ని ఎంత మంది ప్రయాణికులు వినియోగించుకుంటారో తెలుసుకునేందుకు ఈ నెల 7, 9 తేదీల్లో రెండు రోజుల పాటు రైలు సర్వీసు ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నారు. ఈ రైలు బుధవారం (7వ తేదీ) రాత్రి 11 గంటలకు మచిలీపట్నం నుంచి బయలుదేరి, గురువారం ఉదయం 8 గంటలకు తిరుపతి చేరుతుంది. అదే రోజు రాత్రి 8 గంటలకు తిరుపతిలో బయలుదేరి శుక్రవారం ఉదయం 5.30 గంటలకు మచిలీపట్నం వస్తుంది. శుక్రవారం (9వ తేదీ) కూడా ఇలాగే బయలుదేరి, తర్వాత రోజు రాత్రి తిరుపతి నుంచి తిరుగు ప్రయాణమవుతుందని వెల్లడించారు.

OPERATIONALISATION OF SOUTH COAST RAILWAY ZONE

625. SHRI RAM MOHAN NAIDU KINJARAPU:
Will the Minister of RAILWAYS be pleased to state:

(a) whether the Government has any plans to formally commence the operationalisation of the South Coast Railway Zone;

(b) the date on which the construction of a zonal headquarters at Visakhapatnam had started, the set completion date and the proposed extension of days for the completion of its construction and start of its working;

(c) the details regarding the funds for the aforementioned purposes that have been disbursed and utilised;

(d) whether the Government has a plan to construct a railway line between Visakhapatnam junction and Gopalapatnam, if so, the details thereof; and

(e) the details regarding the total area of land that has been acquired for the purpose of building the zonal headquarters at Visakhapatnam, including the issues that have come up during the acquisition of the same?

STATEMENT REFERRED TO IN REPLY TO PARTS (a) TO (e) OF UNSTARRED QUESTION NO.625 BY SHRI RAM MOHAN NAIDU KINJARAPU TO BE ANSWERED IN LOK SABHA ON 06.12.2023 REGARDING OPERATIONALISATION OF SOUTH COAST RAILWAY ZONE

(a) to (e): Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the new South Coast Railway Zone (SCoR) has been prepared. The work of “Setting up of South Coast Railways’ Zone HQ” has been sanctioned at an estimated cost of Rs. 106.89 Crore. An outlay of Rs. 10 Crore has been provided for this work in 2023-24. East Coast Railway has been directed to take up suitable work for preliminary activities like land survey, preparation of complete layout plan of SCoR/Headquarter office complex, residential colony and other construction pre-requisites.
One of the options proposed in the Detailed Project Report for setting up of SCoR zone headquarter is in 52.2 Acre land at Mudasarlova which is to be handed over by Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC)/Andhra Pradesh Government in lieu of railway land taken for Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) project. Government of Andhra Pradesh is yet to identify suitable 52.2 Acre land at Mudasarlova, Vishakhapatnam and hand it over to Railway.
There is existing double line connectivity between Visakhapatnam junction & Gopalapatnam. Further, work has been sanctioned for 3rd & 4th lines between Visakhapatnam junction & Gopalapatnam (15.31 km) in April, 2023 at a cost of Rs. 159.47 Crore.
