This train should ideally have gone upto LJN though I doubt that'll ever happen due to platform constraints at LJN, time constraint for this train[has 1 hour TAT time and taking it to LJN will squeeze that furthur] plus IR terminates it at GTNR to artificially reduce time on paper[just like how DEC-JP VB is run from Delhi Cantt instead of DLI or NDLS].

Not that well. The main highway[ if someone is coming via public transport] is still a km away. PF # 6 side of the station is still under significant construction. There is no current neither proposed metro connectivity for this station either. [In comparasion, even Lucknow City is getting a metro station in second phase underway now]. And with shuttling down of Lucknow-Barabanki EMU services, going/coming from this station via train is tougher as well.
Not many trains use it as of now. The only daily train that starts is the evening...

A visitor from the far west, Kalyan (KYN) WDM 3D # 11471 has pulled into platform no.11 of Howrah Jn with 03062 Dn Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Howrah Special via Allahabad 2.5 hours behind schedule. The alco has single handedly done the job of an end to end diesel run for approximately 2200 kms.

The latest loco from ELS/Howrah to get a special livery, WAP 4 # 22518 in Red-Light Grey (more on the off white side-Black Grey attire undergoing final round of testing inside ELS premises before handover to trip shed for further test & trials. "30 Glorious Years of WAP-4" has been marked on either side profiles in English & Hindi respectively to commemorate the 30th Birthday of this ever dependable & very successful locomotive class which is due in August, 2024.
