Yeh four-day event, har do saal mein aata hai, devotees ke liye bahut spiritual importance rakhta hai aur yeh Koya tribe ke rebellion ko celebrate karta hai, jo unhe 12th century mein Kakatiya rulers ke tax se mukt karane ke liye kiya tha. Yeh rebellion Sammakka aur Saralamma naam ki maa-beti ne lead kiya tha. Union Minister of Tourism and Culture, G.
