DJDOOBS~ 1816 blog postsStrange stoppage at Barauni Jn is only five mins. Is this train halting at new barauni ??. If it goes to Barauni, then there has to be rake reversal and then five mins halt is inadequate !!!

whats the basis of ur observation. can u find how much it takes to go delhi from Barauni via pnbe-mgs..ald--cnb and via bju-hajipur..lucknow..moradabad ??. i assume after bju upto dbrt the route is same for both the trains??
Cushion been provided in between MKA-BJU,,,approx 1 hrs for 20 Kms run!! So ideally, it arrive early for scheduled technicality to be addressed!!

Railway Bridges arnt sanctioned from State Govn but IR. When IR find feasibility to connect certain route, it certainly will go forward!! Just to save reversal, a Bridge cant be created (that too a mighty bridge)!!

Obviously it is New Barauni Junction..Station Board and Station Code of this station is Barauni Junction and BJU only..Its not a different station and is the PF-1 of Old Barauni Junction..Sirf bolchaal ke liye New and Old kehte hai.

It should be noted that 80 mts time provided for MKA BJU section cant be considered as a slack....This is the ideal time required on avg to cover this 20 km section.
More than an hour for 20 kms, for simple track is usual?
The trains which do have 1+ hour run have stoppage @5 mins @ bju...its simple all train got cushion...
Baghmati from mys, got 40 minutes run with 20 minutes stoppage at BJU, which incidentally make total dep frm MKA & BJU as 1+hrs...
The one who has got ample stoppage @BJU do...
