1 water taps - hardly any in working state. pf 1 has a few but seldom works. better to bring home water or buy mineral water.

5 traffic managenent - 10/10. the real issue starts after bnxr for both directions
6 public announcement system - manual for trains to sdah and computerised for trains from sdah.
7 public information system - a single electronic led display board at pf 4 entry and one at pf 1 entry
8 rail enquiry number - none. u need to call sealdah or ivrs 139
9 nearest hotels - hotel vip lodge (at vip lake town crossing 3 km from bnxr, rs.500 single and rs.700 double room)
10 public urinals - avlbl at pf 1 and 4
11 lavatory/sulabh sauchalaya - none
12 means of transportation from station - plenty of autos to salt lake, metro, baguiati, airport
13 distance from bus stand - 50 metres
14 places of attraction - science city(6 km), nicco park(5 km)
