loco pilot's alertness prevented a major accident. Police and intelligence agencies are also conducting separate investigations. Earlier incidents occurred in Roorkee (Haridwar) and Rudrapur (Udham Singh Nagar). The state government has taken the incidents seriously and ordered a thorough investigation by the STF. The decision to involve the STF was taken after an incident in Doiwala, where the intelligence agencies were already investigating previous incidents in Roorkee and Rudrapur. The government's decision was also influenced by a recent incident where a bomb threat was reported on an Amritsar flight landing at Dehradun's Jolly Grant Airport. The loco pilot on the Kathgodam Express spotted an iron rod on the tracks between Doiwala and Harrawala and applied emergency brakes, preventing a derailment. A case has been filed at Doiwala police station. 13 trains operate daily between Dehradun and Haridwar, with the number rising to 18 including weekly trains. Each train carries over 500 passengers. Only four trains stop at the Doiwala railway station, and six of the trains passing through are superfast, including the Dehradun-Delhi Vande Bharat Express, the Lucknow Vande Bharat Express, the Upasana Express, the Kumbh Express, and the Uttarakhand Express.

Police mahanidheshk Abhinav Kumar ne bataya ki police aur khoofiya tantra bhi apne star se jaanch kar rahe hain. Pradesh mein railway track ke kinare base logo ka rajkayiya railway police bal ke madhyam se satyaapan kiya ja raha hai aur sandhigdh se puchtaach ki ja rahi hai. Bataye ki Rudaki aur Rudrapur mein railway track par hui ghatnaon ki jaanch khoofiya tantra kar raha tha, lekin guruvaar ko Doiwala mein hui ghatna ke baad shaasan ne STF ko jaanch soupne ka nirnay liya. Shaasan ne yeh kadam isliye bhi uthaya hai kyonki kuchh din pehle hi Dehradun sthit Jolly Grant Airport par aa rahi Amritsar ki flight mein bomb hone ki soochna bhi mili thi. Isi beech guruvaar ki subah saadhe char baje Dehradun aa rahi Kathgodam Express ko durghnagrast karne ki saajish ka maamla samne aa gaya. Doiwala aur Harrawala ke beech railway track par rakha gaya sariya dekh loco pilot ne gati kam kar di. Loco pilot ne emergency brake lagaye, jis karan sariya engine mein phans gaya aur train ruk gai. Loco pilot ki or se Doiwala kotwali mein mukadma darj karaya gaya hai. Dehradun-Haridwar ke beech pratidin 13 train aawagaman karti hain. Saptahhik trainon ko mila kar ye sankhya 18 hai. Ek train mein paanch sau se adhik yaatri yatra karte hain. In trainon mein kewal char train doon-haridwar ke beech sthit Doiwala railway station mein rukti hain. Yahan se guzarne wali trainon mein chhe superfast train hai. Inme doon-delhi Vande Bharat Express, Lucknow Vande Bharat Express, Upasana Express, Kumbh Express, Uttarakhand Express aadi train shamil hain.
