Examples of their actions include: a Deputy Station Manager at Somatne who noticed sparks from a wagon and took immediate action to prevent a derailment; a Deputy Station Manager at Kasara who noticed smoke coming from a train and ensured its safe departure; a Train Manager at Panvel who quickly re-coupled a train that had split into two parts; two Track Maintainers at Sion who discovered a rail fracture and alerted authorities; a Mechanical Supervisor at Kalyan who detected a broken brake hanger pin; a Loco Pilot at Jalgaon who noticed OHE vibration and prevented potential damage; a Mechanical Supervisor at Bhusaval who spotted a hot axle and fire in a wagon; a Pointsman at Kalaburagi who discovered missing springs on a wagon; and a Safety Counsellor at Solapur who identified burnt equipment and ensured its repair. The General Manager emphasized the importance of these actions in motivating others to prioritize passenger safety.
