The NCR Prayagraj division of the railway started repair work on July 15th, promising completion within three months, but the project has fallen behind schedule. The railway spokesperson, Amit Kumar Singh, has stated that the work is expected to be finished by November 15th, with the road remaining blocked until then. The ongoing repairs are causing traffic congestion in the area, particularly due to the ongoing Kumbh Mela preparations. The bridge's closure has also impacted businesses in the surrounding areas, as it serves as a key route for many. Rain is cited as the primary reason for the project's delay. Local residents remain skeptical about the project's timely completion, expressing concerns about the possibility of further delays.

Railway spokesperson, Amit Kumar Singh, ne bataya ki kaam November 15th tak khatam hone ki umeed hai, aur road tab tak block rahegi. Maha Kumbh ki taiyarion ki wajah se, kothaparchi se kotwali jaane wala rasta khuda hua hai aur chaurahon ka chaudrikaran bhi ho raha hai. Is wajah se jaam ki problem bahut hai. Is bridge ke band hone ki wajah se business bhi affected hue hai, kyunki yeh bahut important route hai. Barish ko kaam mein der hone ka main karan bataya ja raha hai. Local residents ka kehna hai ki agar yeh kaam ek mahine mein khatam bhi ho jaaye toh yeh aapke liye bada aacharya hoga.
