The shed will include eco-friendly features like water treatment plants and solar panels. MEMU trains are expected to operate in Rajasthan soon after electrification work is completed. These trains are known for their quick acceleration and can reach high speeds. The Nagaur MEMU shed is strategically located as it's at the junction of the four railway divisions of the North Western Railway Zone: Jodhpur, Jaipur, Ajmer, and Bikaner, enabling convenient maintenance and dispatch of MEMU rakes to their respective destinations. The shed's location also benefits from Nagaur's connection to major cities across India.

Nagaur mein 124 saal pehle jaha system engine se trains chalti thi, wahi ab 2024 mein electrification ke baad electric engines se trains chalengi. MEMU shed ka location bhi sahi hai kyunki yeh North Western Railway Zone ke four railway divisions: Jodhpur, Jaipur, Ajmer, aur Bikaner ka junction hai. Yeh shed train rakes ko unke respective destinations tak conveniently maintain karne aur bhejne mein madad karega.
