station's platforms were closed on September 22, and the Janahaar Canteen has been closed since January 2024. The closures are attributed to expiring contracts. While IRCTC has issued tenders for the canteen, no operator has come forward. The restaurant is also undergoing a tender process within the South Eastern Railway zone. It is reported that the five stalls were closed by their operators due to outstanding license fees demanded by the railway. Passengers are facing inconvenience as a result. However, the commercial and catering supervisor is working to reopen the stalls to accommodate the influx of passengers during the upcoming festivals.

pe paanch stall band hue the, aur Janahaar canteen January 2024 se band hai. Sab contracts khatam hone ki wajah se yeh band hue hain. IRCTC ne canteen khulwane ke liye kai baar tender nikala, lekin koi operator nahi mila. Restaurant ke liye bhi tender process South Eastern Railway zone mein shuru hai. Bataya ja raha hai ki station ke paanch stall operators ne railway ke baki license fees maangne ke baad band kar diye the. Isse yaatriyon ko pareshani ho rahi hai. Par commercial aur catering supervisor yaatriyon ki convenience ke liye stall ko fir se khulwane mein busy hain, taaki festivals ke time pe train mein bheed se bacha ja sake.
