SCR’s Nanded division almost electrified, says General Manager

The South Central Railway (SCR) has electrified its entire Maharashtra section except for the newly constructed Akola-Akot and Amalakhurd–Khandwa lines, which are under electrification. Furthermore, they've commissioned an 81 km double line between Parbhani and Mudkhed and are redeveloping 20 railway stations under the Amrit Bharat station scheme, including Jalna (₹189 crore) and Aurangabad (₹241 crore). Additionally, 18 new train services have been introduced, including two Vande Bharat Express trains between Jalna – Mumbai CSMT and Nagpur – Secunderabad. The meeting was attended by several MPs representing Nanded division jurisdictions and SCR officials, including General Manager Arun Kumar Jain and DRM Neeti Sarkar.
