Yeh forest clearance na milne ki wajah se aaye 2 mahine ke delay ko khatam karta hai. Depot pehle Zirakpur mein banne wala tha, lekin Punjab government ne land dene se mana kar diya, jisse Sector 27, Panchkula mein alternative location chuna gaya. Metro system ka estimated cost ₹24,000 crore hai aur yeh do phases mein banaya jayega, pehla phase 2032 tak complete hone ki ummid hai.
