The line box, which contains essential railway equipment including explosives, is currently carried by train managers and loco pilots in their respective cabins. The new trolley bag is considered less secure and poses a risk to the safety of the staff. The protest was led by Rajeev Mishra, zonal secretary of the All India Guard Council, who expressed concerns about the security of explosives in the trolley bag and the lack of a safe and secure place for train managers to sit in freight trains. The protest was attended by several members of the All India Guard Council, including Sudhanshu Pandey, Piyush Mishra, Ayaz Farooqui, Rudra Pratap Singh, Anil Kumar, Subhash Prajapati, Satyanarayan, Neeraj Joshi, Rakesh Yadav, Sahabuddin, and BK Pal.
