Employees will receive a lump sum payment upon completion of every 6 months of service, calculated at 10% of their salary and DA. Employees will have the option to choose between NPS or UPS, with those hired after 2004 eligible for benefits. 18,449 employees in the Dhanbad Rail Division are eligible for the UPS.
