train will be manufactured by Kinet Railway Solutions, a joint venture of RVNL, Metrowagonmash, and LES. The project aims to eventually produce 2,500 high-speed trains by 2047, replacing older train sets. The use of aluminium instead of steel is expected to improve speed and cost efficiency.

Is project ka maqsad 2047 tak 2,500 high-speed trains banana hai, jiske saath hi purane train sets badal diye jayenge. Is mein steel ki jagah aluminium ka istemaal kiya jaayega, jisse speed aur cost efficiency mein sudhaar aayega.

IR has changed the length of VB sleeper trains from 16 to 24 coaches and will include luggage vans, pantry car, may be restaurant seating car. So as pantry is included the design of the coach will be changed the present hot buffet arrangements in the coach will pave way for berths. The overall capacity of the train will increase considerable from the earlier 823 traveller berth to over 1200 which means a complete new design from the prototype being manufactured in BEML. The target date next Sep 2025 may be stretched to 2026 Q1 as the design has to start from scratch. The cost of the train set will increase from the present Rs 120 cr per trainset to 180cr which is not mentioned in the article. already designed the concept, production procuremnt plan and target to roll out in July 2025. The tenders are already are old by an year and IR with RM changes specifications the project will be delayed which is to be on track in T20. (2020).
