Jaiswal also requested the extension of the Bilaspur-Chirmiri-Bilaspur train (18257-18258) to either Durg Junction or Gondia Junction, providing direct access to the capital city of Raipur. Currently, residents of the newly formed district of Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur lack direct rail connectivity to Raipur. The Health Minister also demanded that the Shahdol-Nagpur Junction-Shahdol train (11201-11202) be operated from Chirmiri, enabling direct travel for a large population to Katni, Jabalpur, and Nagpur. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw expressed that the demands would be considered favorably.
