Indore is facing a concerning issue with its tree transplantation program. Last year, around 2,500 trees were transplanted for flyover construction but many have since died due to inadequate care. Commerce and Arts College campus. The contractor responsible for the transplantation was also supposed to provide care but failed to do so. The situation is alarming as the city is currently facing a massive tree plantation drive with a target of planting 51 lakh saplings during the monsoon season. Experts like retired Deputy Conservator Ashok Kharate have highlighted the lack of proper technique and knowledge of root systems in the transplantation process, leading to inadequate treatment for the trees.

Indore mein, city development ke liye bahut saare pedh kaate aur transplant kiye ja rahe hain. Last year, flyovers ke liye 2500 ke kareeb pedh transplant kiye gaye the, but unme se bahut saare dry ho gaye hai, proper care na hone ki wajah se. Ye pedh Khajrana, Bhanwarkuan, Lavkush and...

Footi Kothi crossroads se Super Corridor aur Atal Bihari Commerce and Arts College campus mein transplant kiye gaye the. Transplanting ke liye contract kiya gaya tha, but unhone pedh ki proper care nahi ki. Ye situation bahut critical hai, kyunki city mein iss monsoon season mein 51 lakh saplings lagane ka target hai. Experts, jaise retired Deputy Conservator Ashok Kharate, ne bataya hai ki transplant karne ki proper technique ka use nahi ho raha hai aur root system ki knowledge bhi nahi hai, isliye pedh ko proper treatment nahi mil raha hai.
