more... Dhanbad via two routes: Ranchi-Bhagalpur Vananchal Express (daily), and Ranchi-Godda Express and Tata Nagar-Godda Express (running thrice and once a week respectively). This new train will be the fourth connection between Dhanbad and Bhagalpur, potentially running via Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, and Jamalpur. Time estimates are being calculated for the route including Barkakana, Hazaribagh Town, Koderma, Bhandua, Gaya, and Kiul. The proposed train will pass through three zones (East Central, East and South Eastern Railways) and five divisions (Ranchi, Dhanbad, Asansol, Danapur and Malda Town) requiring cooperation for finalizing the schedule. The new train will directly connect Dhanbad with Hazaribagh Town, which is not currently serviced by any trains via or from Dhanbad. It will also offer an alternative route to Barkakana. The proposed timings for the new train through Dhanbad division are: 12:40 pm arrival at Dhanbad, 1:11 pm departure from Gomoh, 1:28 pm departure from Parasnath, 1:51 pm departure from Hazaribagh Road, 2:35 pm departure from Koderma, 4:11 pm arrival at Hazaribagh Town and 5:55 pm arrival at Barkakana.
