all preparatory works and utility shifting have been completed. The project is currently 30% complete and is expected to be finished four months ahead of schedule in January 2026. Key features of the redeveloped station include a capacity of 45,000 passengers daily, dedicated arrival and departure plazas with FOBs, escalators, lifts, and staircases connecting each platform, and ample parking space. Construction is progressing steadily on both the east and west sides of the station, with the east side building reaching the third floor and the west side piling work completed by 85%. The project follows a phased approach to minimize disruption to train operations and passenger movement. The RLDA is also responsible for redeveloping 14 other railway stations across India, including flagship stations like New Delhi, CSMT, Ahmedabad, and Chandigarh.

pe kaam karne ki challenges ke baavajood, saare preparatory works aur utility shifting complete ho chuke hain. Project abhi 30% complete hai aur January 2026 mein schedule se 4 months pehle khatam hone ki ummid hai. Redeveloped station mein key features mein 45,000 passengers ki daily capacity, dedicated arrival aur departure plazas with FOBs, escalators, lifts, aur staircases jo har platform ko connect karte hain, aur bahut saara parking space shamil hai. East aur west dono taraf station pe construction steady chal raha hai, east side building third floor tak pahunch gaya hai aur west side piling work 85% complete ho chuka hai. Project mein train operations aur passenger movement ko disturb kam se kam karne ke liye ek phased approach follow kiya ja raha hai. RLDA, India mein 14 aur railway stations ko bhi redevelop kar raha hai, jismein New Delhi, CSMT, Ahmedabad, aur Chandigarh jaise flagship stations shamil hain.
