Severe Flooding Paralyses Rail Operations in Uttarakhand Amidst Relentless Rain

Heavy rainfall over the past three days has caused severe flooding in Uttarakhand, particularly in the Kumaon region. Bagh Express trains. The Lalkuan railway station is submerged, leading to the diversion of trains to alternate stations. Platform 2 of Haldwani station is under threat from the eroding river, and rescue efforts are hampered by the rapid flow. The situation remains critical, with disaster management officials closely monitoring the situation. High-altitude regions are also facing landslides, causing damage to homes and trapping residents. The Chakrata-Kalsi motor road has been repeatedly affected by landslides, requiring continuous clearance by the PWD. Floodwaters in Haldwani and Rishikesh have swept away people, necessitating rescue operations.

Shatabdi Express, aur Bagh Express trains bhi shamil hain. Lalkuan railway station dub gaya hai, jisse trains ko alternate stations par divert karna pada hai. Haldwani station ke platform 2 ko river ke erode hone ka khatra hai, aur rescue efforts tez beh rahi river ki wajah se mushkil ho rahe hain. Situation critical hai, aur disaster management officials situation ko closely monitor kar rahe hain. High-altitude regions mein bhi landslide aa rahe hain, jisse gharon ko nuksan ho raha hai aur residents fas gaye hain. Chakrata-Kalsi motor road par bar-bar landslide a rahe hain, jiske liye PWD ko continuously clearance efforts karni pad rahi hain. Haldwani aur Rishikesh mein floodwater se log beh gaye hain, jiske liye rescue operations chal rahe hain.
