and KSRTC works. Additionally, they are responsible for project development for the Thalassery-Mysore, Angamali-Erumeli Sabari rail, and Nilambur-Nanchankode railway lines. While facing opposition from Karnataka on environmental grounds, K-Rail has proposed a new design for the Nilambur-Nanchankode route, avoiding the National Park and Bandipur Tiger Sanctuary. The plan involves converging the Nilambur-Nanchankode and Thalassery-Mysore routes at Kalpatta and passing through an underground tunnel in Karnataka. K-Rail has also expressed interest in constructing the Sabari rail route. In collaboration with Rail Vikas Nigam Limited, K-Rail has been awarded a contract to install an automatic block signalling system on the Ernakulam South-Vallathol Nagar rail route, which is a first for Kerala. The project is expected to be completed within 750 days. Meanwhile, the Silver Line project is on hold with an expenditure of 65.72 crores.

Wo Wayanad Airstrip project aur KSRTC ke kaam ke liye consultant bhi hain. Rail Vikas Nigam Limited ke saath milkar, K-Rail ko Ernakulam South-Vallathol Nagar rail route pe automatic block signalling system install karne ka contract mila hai, jo Kerala mein pehli baar hai. Project 750 din mein complete hone ki ummid hai. Iske saath hi, Silver Line project 65.72 crore ka kharcha karke hold pe hai.
