to Upadhyaya's birthplace and the renaming is seen as an effort to revive his legacy. The renaming process involves a no-objection certificate from the Union Home Ministry after receiving comments from various departments. The previous Samajwadi Party government had blocked the proposal, but the BJP has been pushing for it for months. Another proposal to rename Mugalsarai railway station after Upadhyaya is still pending with the home ministry.

hai. Station Upadhyaya ke janm place ke paas hai aur naam change karne ko unke legacy ko revive karne ki koshish ke roop mein dekha ja raha hai. Naam change karne ki process mein Union Home Ministry se NOC chahiye hota hai aur uske liye bahut sare departments se comments lene hote hain. Pehle Samajwadi Party government ne yeh proposal block kar diya tha, lekin BJP isko months se push kar rahi thi. Mugalsarai railway station ka naam bhi Deendayal Upadhyaya ke naam par karne ka proposal abhi home ministry ke paas pending hai.
