DNA test has been ordered by the court. The Tatanagar GRP is waiting for the girl to be discharged from the hospital to record her statement under Section 164 of the CrPC. The investigating officer, SI John Minj, had already recorded the mother's statement two days earlier. The mother informed the GRP that the accused lured her daughter with chocolate. The case is being investigated under the POCSO Act. The supervision of the case has been assigned to DSP Jayshree Kujur.

Ladki ab MGM Hospital mein admitted hai aur court ne DNA test order kiya hai. Tatanagar GRP ladki ke discharge hone ka wait kar raha hai taaki uske statement ko 164 ke tahat record kar sake. Investigating officer, SI John Minj ne ladki ki maa ka statement do din pehle hi record kar liya tha. Ladki ki maa ne GRP ko bataya ki accused ne ladki ko chocolate dene ka jhansa dekar apne saath le gaya tha. Case POCSO Act ke tahat investigate kiya ja raha hai. Case ki supervision DSP Jayshree Kujur ko di gayi hai.
