In this hot season, Katni Railway Line, along with Nagpur Railway, Secunderabad Railway, Chakradharpur Railway, and now Bhopal Railway Mandal, are also undergoing blocks. Due to blocks scheduled until July 5 by the railways, the operation of more than 100 passenger trains has been affected.
Due to the cancellation of trains during the 17-day block in June, the Railway has had to refund passengers at Raipur Railway Division's reservation counters a total of Rs. 1 crore 8 lakh 86 thousand. Such situations often lead passengers to seek refunds for confirmed reservations made months in advance.
