Due to an accident involving the Kanchenjunga Express, train services on the Sealdah/Howrah-Guwahati line are disrupted. Express, 12377 Sealdah-New Alipurduar Padatik Express, 12345 Howrah-Guwahati Saraighat Express, 12041 Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Shatabdi Express, and 13141 Sealdah-New Alipurduar Tista Torsa Express. The accident occurred on Monday when the Kanchenjunga Express collided with a freight train near Rangapani station in Darjeeling district. The incident resulted in the death of at least 10 people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed their condolences.
