Passengers expressed their frustration to station officials and demanded alternate train arrangements. Many were able to board the Kurla Express and the Geethanjali Express to reach Kharagpur and Howrah. Similar incidents occurred on Friday when over 70 passengers missed the Buxar Express due to the Ernakulam Express's delay. Passengers complained of unnecessary stops contributing to the delays. The Ernakulam Express is scheduled to continue on the alternative route until June 14th due to the line block.
