Authorities ne bataya hai ki plastic-free environment banana ek challenge hai aur usme metro authorities aur passengers dono ka saath jaruri hai. Iske saath hi, Sector Five-Sealdah aur Esplanade-Howrah Maidan routes pe QR-coded tickets ka istemal bahut badh gaya hai, aur pichhle six weeks mein 1.3 million se zyada commuters ne inka use kiya hai.
