from Sitamarhi to Patna, Delhi, and Ayodhya Junction; an increase in the number of local trains with improved schedules and speed; a 22-coach train with 3 AC coaches on the Sugauli-Danapur route; resumption of the Sitamarhi-Jaynagar rail route after 24 years; completion of the railway overbridge within three months; extension of the Bihar Sampark Kranti and Pawan Express to Sitamarhi from Darbhanga; extension of the Saptkranti Express and Jansadharan Express to Sitamarhi from Muzaffarpur; doubling the Sitamarhi-Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, and Narkatiaganj railway lines; construction of a washing pit; addition of tracks 3 and 4 at the station, along with water facilities for trains; approval of rail traffic to Janakpurdham; and initiation of trains from Sitamarhi Dham to major pilgrimage sites across India. These demands were made prior to the election, and Thakur affirmed his commitment to addressing them during their meeting.
