The KRC's tender, which involves a single contractor providing rent-a-bike services at seven stations in Goa and Karnataka, has attracted criticism from various stakeholders, including a delegation from the All Goa Tourism Stakeholders Association and taxi operators who met with Sawant to request the tender's cancellation. The tender allows the successful bidder to operate rent-a-bike services in 300 square feet areas at each of the seven stations.
