upon reaching the coach, found his seat occupied. He filed a complaint with the District Consumer Commission, Bhopal, on December 18, 2020, seeking compensation for the inconvenience caused. After an investigation, the Commission found that the railway was at fault and ordered them to pay Rs 257 for the ticket, Rs 10,000 for mental distress, and Rs 3,000 for legal expenses. The commission also found that the train coach did not have a ticket checker and all seats were occupied.
