On Tuesday morning at around 6 AM, a loud explosion occurred near the A2 pillar of the combined rail-road bridge over the Ganges River, close to the Tari Ghat in Zamania, Ghazipur. This explosion caused the overhead equipment wire (OHE wire) to break, potentially leading to a major railway accident. Thankfully,...

no trains were scheduled at that time. Local residents reported hearing three to four loud explosions, sounding like fireballs, that were audible up to a kilometer away. The incident caused panic, with people fleeing the area near the bridge and those taking morning walks scattering in fear. The Northeast Railway Gorakhpur zone's control room was alerted, and a team of engineers and technicians were dispatched to repair the damaged OHE wire. After a two-and-a-half-hour repair effort, train services resumed at 8:30 AM. The cause of the incident was attributed to wooden pieces used to decorate the bridge during its inauguration, which have now been removed.

yeh hai ki us waqt koi train nahi thi. Local logon ne bataaya ki teen se chaar baar bada dhamaka hua, jiska sound fireballs ki tarah tha. Dhamaka ki aawaz ek kilometer tak sunai di. Bridge ke paas aur morning walk kar rahe logon mein dar ke mare bhaagmakhan mach gaya. Northeast Railway Gorakhpur zone ke control room ko is baare mein bataaya gaya, aur OHE wire ki repair ke liye technicians ki team ko waha bheja gaya. 2.5 ghante ki repair ke baad 8:30 AM par train services start ho gayi. Dhamaka ki wajah inauguration time me bridge ko decorate karne ke liye lagaaye hue wooden pieces thi, jinko ab hata diya gaya hai.
