The villagers argue that the closure will cause significant inconvenience, especially for schoolchildren, pregnant women, and the sick, as they won't be able to access the village by road. They also claim that they had submitted a memorandum to the DRM of Malda Division in 2022 requesting a level crossing, but no action has been taken yet. The villagers are demanding a solution to this issue, pointing out that the railway crossing has been in use since 1950 and serves as a crucial link to the village, particularly during the Vasant Utsav festival held at the nearby Yognagari Gurudham.

Gaonwalo ka kehna hai ki isse unhe bahut dikkat hogi, khass karke school jaane wale bachchon, pregnant aurtain, aur bimaron ko, kyunki woh gaon tak road se nahin ja payenge. Unhone yeh bhi daawa kiya hai ki unhone 2022 mein Malda Division ke DRM ko level crossing ke liye ek memorandum submit kiya tha, lekin koi action nahin liya gaya. Gaonwalo ki maang hai ki is issue ka hal nikala jaaye, woh yeh bhi bata rahe hain ki yeh railway crossing 1950 se use ho raha hai aur yeh gaon tak pahunchne ka ek important link hai, khass karke Vasant Utsav festival ke dauraan jo karib Yognagari Gurudham mein aayojit hota hai.
