RPF raids illegal ticket agents, 13 arrested in Nagpur division, goods worth Rs 2.21 lakh including 159 tickets seized

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) of South-East-Central Railway, Nagpur conducted a special operation to crack down on illegal ticket brokers. In total, 13 brokers were arrested from various locations including Itwari, Moti Bagh, Bhandara, Gondia, Dongargarh, Nainpur, and Chhindwara. Among these tickets, 8 were live tickets worth around 18,000 rupees, which are being processed for cancellation. The brokers were found to be charging exorbitant commissions from passengers for obtaining tickets illegally. The RPF also confiscated computers, laptops, mobile phones, and other materials from the arrested individuals.
