improve passenger convenience and operational efficiency. Gorakhpur Cantt station used to be a significant station during the narrow gauge era, but its importance dwindled after the conversion to broad gauge and the opening of the Gorakhpur-Narkatiaganj route. In 2016, due to increasing crowds at Gorakhpur station, a plan to develop Cantt station was formulated to address future challenges. The plan involved constructing a new station building and platforms 1 and 2, while the old station building was demolished and the former main platform now serves as platform number 3. The new station has taken on a grand appearance.

jaari ki hai. Is shift se yaatriyon ko aasani hogi aur operation bhi smooth chalega. Gorakhpur Cantt station pehle ek important station tha jab yeh small line tha, lekin broad gauge convert hone aur Gorakhpur-Narkatiaganj route shuru hone ke baad, Cantt station ki role kam ho gayi. 2016 mein Gorakhpur station pe bheed badhne ke karan, Cantt station ko develop karne ki yojana banai gayi. Isme new station building aur platform 1 aur 2 banaya gaya. Purana station building demolish kar diya gaya aur purana main platform ab platform number 3 ban gaya hai. New station ab bahut grand lag raha hai.
