Two weekly special trains are being operated to handle extra passenger traffic towards the Eastern Sector during the summer season. Train No. 06063/06064 runs between Erode and Dhanbad, departing Erode every Friday at 13.30 hours and arriving in Dhanbad at 08.30 hours on the third day. The return journey, Train No....

06064, departs Dhanbad every Monday at 06.00 hours and reaches Erode at 02.00 hours on the third day. Train No. 06065/06066 operates between Tambaram and Dhanbad, leaving Tambaram every Sunday at 18.15 hours and arriving in Dhanbad at 08.30 hours on the third day. The return service, Train No. 06066, departs Dhanbad every Wednesday at 06.00 hours and reaches Tambaram at 22.45 hours on the next day. Both trains consist of 2 Sleeper Class Coaches, 18/16 General Second Class Coaches, and 2 Divyangjan Friendly Second Class Coaches.
