Since the Agnibina Express halts at Asansol for 8 hours before returning, there is sufficient time to extend the train to Giridih. He also requested a stoppage for train number 13513/14, the Asansol-Hatia Express, at Salaiya in a separate letter to the General Manager of the East Central Railway. He argued that a stoppage at Salaiya would increase passenger load and revenue for the railway. He mentioned that Salaiya station is near Pachemba in Giridih city, providing convenience to a large number of people. Copies of the letters were sent to the MPs of Giridih and Koderma, the Rajya Sabha MP, the Divisional Railway Manager, the Giridih Chamber of Commerce, and Pradeep Agarwal, a ZRUCC member of Eastern Railway.
