Vaishno Devi via Lucknow, of which only two are regular. The remaining four run once a week, one train runs twice a week, and one train runs thrice a week. A new train from Gomti Nagar station to Katra was planned to be introduced during Navratri, but it seems unlikely to happen now due to the model code of conduct. The new train was announced by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh after requesting the Rail Minister, but its commencement awaits the end of the code of conduct.

kar Vaishno Devi ke liye vibhinna shaharon se aath train chalti hain. Inmein do hi niyamit hain. Baaki chaar train saptaah mein ek din hain. Ek train do din aur ek teen din chalti hain. In sab ke beech Navratri se Gomti Nagar station se nai train Katra tak shuru karne ka sapna adhoora nazar aa raha hai. Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh ne Rail Mantri se anurodh kar Gomti Nagar se Katra ke beech nai train ki ghoshanna ki thi. Magar train shuru hone ka intezaar aachar sanhita ke liye badh gaya hai.
