पार्लियामेंट के सामने से निकलती थी ट्रेन, जानिए क्या था पूरा रूट, क्यों कर दी गई बंद?

During the construction of Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan, and North & South Block in Raisina Hills, red and sandstone were transported from Rajasthan. Sadar Bazaar, the then hub of Old Delhi, to Raisina Hills. This track ran alongside the present New Delhi station and passed through Connaught Place before ending near the Parliament House. Goods trains carrying the stones used this track for a period of six years, after which it was dismantled due to the construction of Connaught Place and other buildings in its route. The track's remnants can still be observed near the Northern Railway Public Relations Office, where engines occasionally use it to access the outer circle of Connaught Place.

Raisina Hills mein Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan aur North & South Block banate samay, Rajasthan se laal aur sandstone ka istemaal kiya gaya. Is time pe New Delhi station nahi tha, toh pathar Old Delhi se laaye ja rahe the. Is process ko jaldi banane ke liye, Sadar Bazaar se (jahan...

pe Old Delhi ki trains chalti thi) Raisina Hills tak ek temporary railway track banaya gaya. Yeh track aaj ke New Delhi station ke side mein, Connaught Place se hota hua, Parliament House ke paas tak jaata tha. Is track pe stones le jaane wali goods trains chali aur yeh track 6 saal tak chala. Fir yeh track dismantle kar diya gaya kyunki Connaught Place aur dusre buildings ban rahe the jahan se yeh track jaata tha. Is track ke remnants aaj bhi Northern Railway Public Relations Office ke paas dikhai dete hain jahan pe engines aate hain aur Connaught Place ke outer circle mein jaate hain.
