A new Vande Bharat Express train service between Mysuru and Chennai via Bengaluru will be launched on March 12th by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The service between Bengaluru and Chennai will begin on April 5th, while the Mysuru leg will commence once the maintenance facility in Mysuru is completed. Mysuru MP Prathap Simha advocated for direct Vande Bharat services from Mysuru, citing the recent removal of terminal constraints in the city and the need for better connectivity and tourism opportunities. He believes that direct services from Mysuru will overcome the limitations of current services that stop in Bengaluru, ultimately benefiting the region.

Chennai se 5 baje shaam chali jaane wali return service, Mysuru mein 11.20 baje raat pahunch jaayegi, aur Katpadi, Krishnarajapuram, Bengaluru (SMVT), aur Mandya mein stops honge. Bengaluru aur Chennai ke beech ki service 5 April se start hogi, lekin Mysuru ki service tab start hogi jab Mysuru mein maintenance facility ban kar taiyar ho jaayegi. Mysuru MP Prathap Simha ne Mysuru se direct Vande Bharat services start karne ki baat rakhti hai, unhone kaha ki Mysuru mein terminal constraints hatne ke baad, city ko aache connectivity aur tourism opportunities ki jarurat hai. Unka maanana hai ki Mysuru se direct services start karne se, Bengaluru mein rukne wali current services ki limitations khatam ho jaayengi, aur isse region ko fayda hoga.
