On Thursday, around 12 noon, a near-miss occurred on the Chakradharpur railway division between Sini and Birbans stations. The Howrah-Titlagarh Kantabaji Ispat Express (train number 22861) was en route from Tatanagar to Chakradharpur at a speed of 130 km/h when its driver suddenly braked, bringing the train to a halt. Passengers...

discovered a freight train stationary on the same track, just 100 meters ahead of the Ispat Express. Despite the close call, no collision occurred. Passengers captured images of the incident and shared them on social media, expressing relief at having avoided a major accident. The freight train was moved to clear the line, and the Ispat Express continued its journey to Chakradharpur. The official stance of the railway authorities is yet to be released, however, experts suggest that the track where the incident occurred is equipped with an automatic signaling system, making a head-on collision between trains improbable.

Thursday ko, dopahar 12 baje ke aas-paas, Chakradharpur railway division ke Sini aur Birbans station ke beech ek badi accident se bachne wala maamla tha. Howrah-Titlagarh Kantabaji Ispat Express (train number 22861), Tatanagar se Chakradharpur ja rahi thi, 130 km/h ki speed pe, jab uske driver ne achanak brake laga diya...

aur train ruk gayi. Passengers ne dekha ki ussi track par, Ispat Express ke 100 meters aage, ek malgadi rukhi hui thi. Koi accident nahi hua, par yeh dekh kar sab log dar gaye.
