The Indian Railways is undertaking a development project around Tatanagar station in Jamshedpur, involving the acquisition of land in Bagbera to expand the station area. This has led to a halt in development activities in 13 panchayats within the railway zone, as instructed by the Tatanagar office on February 20th. Local...

residents have expressed concerns about the impact on their basic amenities. The project involves demolition of existing railway quarters and acquisition of land around BNR ground, Gudri Bazar, and the Bagbera road for a new layout. This expansion, costing around 400 crores, aims to provide better facilities like restaurants, hotels, and malls around the station, including a dedicated colony for railway employees. The plan also includes acquiring land near Postunagar, Khushbu Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, and Wireless Maidan, along with developing the entry points near Burmamines Gate. The entire project is expected to be completed within a year.

facilities ko lekar chinta hai. Project mein existing railway quarters ko todna aur BNR ground, Gudri Bazar, aur Bagbera road ke aaspaas ki railway ki zameen ko naye layout ke liye acquire karna shamil hai. 400 crore ki lagat se hone wala ye expansion station ke aaspaas restaurants, hotels, aur malls jaisi facilities dena chahta hai. Isme railway employees ke liye ek dedicated colony bhi banaya jaayega. Postunagar, Khushbu Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, aur Wireless Maidan ke aaspaas ki zameen ko bhi acquire kiya jaayega aur Burmamines Gate ke aaspaas ke area ko bhi khali karake dono taraf se entry ko airport ki tarah develop kiya jaayega. Pura project ek saal mein khatam hone ki ummeed hai.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
