Railways commences earth excavation for construction of twin RuBs at Mahakalipadpu in Mangaluru

Southern Railway's Palakkad division is constructing twin railway under bridges (RuBs) on the Morgan's Gate-Jeppinamogaru Junction Road in Mangaluru. were placed under the Shoranur-Mangaluru Central line between February 15th and 17th. The project is expected to be completed by the end of May, with the aim of opening the road to traffic and eliminating the Mahakalipadpu level crossing. The project's location near the Netravati river has been addressed, with RuB beds built above the high flood line to prevent flooding during the monsoon.

construction ka kaam ho sake. 15 aur 17 February ke beech Shoranur-Mangaluru Central line ke niche do 26-meter lambi girders lagaaye gaye hain. Project ke May ke aakhtak complete hone ki ummid hai, aur iska maksad road ko traffic ke liye kholna aur Mahakalipadpu level crossing ko eliminate karna hai.
