The goods train was halted following the accident, causing a 30-minute delay for the Pratapgarh-Varanasi passenger train, leading to passenger inconvenience. Ankit, a resident of Rasoolha village in the Kapsethi police station area, was a second-year BA student at a college in Varanasi. He had come from Indore on Saturday morning to take the Uttar Pradesh Police constable recruitment exam. After getting off the bus at Kapsethi market, he was walking home across the railway tracks when the accident occurred. The news of Ankit's death left his mother, Samdei Devi, inconsolable, and his father rushed back from Indore upon hearing the tragic news.

Ankit, Kapsethi police station area ke Rasoolha gaon ka resident tha, aur Varanasi ke ek college mein BA second year ka student tha. Woh Saturday subah Indore se Uttar Pradesh Police constable recruitment exam dene aaya tha. Kapsethi market mein bus se utarne ke baad, woh railway tracks par chal kar apne ghar ja raha tha jab yeh accident hua. Ankit ki maut ki khabar sun kar uski maa, Samdei Devi, behosh si ho gayi aur uske papa bhi Indore se ghar ke liye nikal gaye.
