On Tuesday, the Delhi Metro restricted entry and exit at nine stations by closing some gates due to security concerns related to the farmers' planned march to Delhi. The gates were closed at the request of the Delhi Police. One gate was closed at Khan Market station, while at Central Secretariat, gates 1, 2, and 5 were shut, with gates 3 and 4 remaining open. The Delhi Metro informed passengers through social media that some gates may be closed at these stations based on security instructions. The city center is under heavy security with police and paramilitary personnel deployed, and barricades restricting access to several key roads, causing inconvenience for commuters.
