The meet brings together law enforcement professionals to learn, share best practices, and strengthen collective efforts in investigation excellence. The event will feature workshops on scientific assistance in investigations, police photography, computer awareness, special canine unit competitions, sabotage prevention investigations, and police videography, providing a platform for law enforcement personnel to hone their skills and exchange best practices. The meet will be held at the Jagjivan Ram RPF Academy in Lucknow. Established in 1955, the Jagjivan Ram RPF Academy in Lucknow serves as a premier training institute for probationers, IRPFs cadre officers, and RPF sub-inspector cadets. It also offers courses in emerging fields such as cybercrime and disaster management. In a spirit of collaboration, the Academy has partnered with renowned institutions like INMAS-DRDO, SVP-NPA, BPR&DD, and NISA to ensure comprehensive training for railway protectors. Established in 2004 under the RPF Act 1957, the Railway Protection Force has been instrumental in protecting railway property and ensuring the safety of passengers and their belongings. Notably, the RPF has a nine percent representation of women, the highest among all armed forces in India. The RPF plays a crucial role in safeguarding passengers and railway property.
