Every employee had to show their ID card and undergo a baggage check, while passengers faced metal detector and dog squad checks. The search operation continued until Wednesday evening, but no untoward incident occurred. The threatening message, written by a user named Ranjan Kumar, claimed to target the station and workshop due to a sense of despair and the desire to die. The source of the message is believed to be a group from Rajasthan, though the person posting it is said to be from Jamalpur.

24 ghanto ka special search operation chalu kiya gaya. Police ne jaanch ki, shak ke aadhaar pe logon se sawal kiye, aur security tight ki, jisse factory workers aur travelers mein pareshani hui. Har employee ko apna ID card dikhana pada aur bag ki check karvani padi, aur passengers ko metal detector aur dog squad se check karna pada.
