Kerala government is project ko support kar raha hai aur economic benefits batate hai, jaise Kochi aur Bengaluru ke beech travel time kam hona. Lekin South Western Railway (SWR) Mysuru Division ne kaha hai ki unko is project ke baare mein koi information nahin hai. Is proposed line ko Karnataka se resistance mila hai, jinhone pichle samay mein environment concerns ki wajah se similar project ko reject kar diya tha.
