The apprehended man, identified as Ibrar from Delhi's Rohini area, was found with a bag containing the bundle of paper and an ID card belonging to Vivek Verma of Shahjahanpur. Ibrar admitted to stealing the bag from Charbagh station two days prior. During interrogation, Ibrar confessed to using a fraudulent scheme of doubling money, where he would take genuine currency and give people a bundle of paper in exchange. A case has been registered against Ibrar based on the complaint filed by the airport security personnel.

Aaropee ke paas se Shahjahanpur Chodheera niwasi Vivek Verma ke naam se bana Gallent Ispaat India ka ID card mila. Ibrar ne poochhtachh me bataya ki baramaad hua bag do din pehle Charbagh station se churaiya tha. Ibrar ke paas se gaddi numaa kaagaz ka bundle mila tha. Poochhtachh me Ibrar ne bataya ki wo rupaye dogune karne ka jhansa dekar kai logo se dhokha dhadi kar chuka hai. Asali note lene ke baad, wo logo ko note numaa kaagaz ki gaddi thuma kar bhaag jata hai. Inspector Sarojininagar Shailendra Giri ke mutabik, Ibrar ke khilaf sipahi Amit ki taheer par mukadma darj kiya gaya hai.
