Track construction of 1-km underground tunnel completed

The Kanpur Metro Rail Project's Corridor 1 (IIT-Naubasta) is making progress on the Chunniganj-Nayaganj underground section. Meanwhile, the 'Nana' TBM has finished its initial drive in the 414-meter 'up-line' tunnel from McRobertganj towards Chunniganj station. The 'Tatya' TBM is working on the 'down-line' tunnel from McRobertganj towards Chunniganj. Around 3 km of tunneling has been completed between Chunniganj and Nayaganj. Additionally, the 'Azad' and 'Vidyarthi' TBMs are working on the Kanpur Central to Nayaganj tunnel section.

hai. Is stretch ke 'down line' mein track construction ka kaam bhi khatam hone wala hai. In dono stations ke beech track construction ka kaam pura hone ke saath hi, Chunniganj aur Bada Chauraha ke beech rail track layne ka kaam bhi kuchh dinon mein shuru ho jaayega. Iske saath hi, 'Nana' Tunnel Boring Machine, jo McRobertganj se under-construction Chunniganj station ki taraf 'up-line' mein lagbhag 414-meter tunnel banara hai, ne Wednesday ko apna initial drive pura kiya hai. Yaad rakhiye ki Chunniganj-Nayaganj underground section mein, 'Tatya' TBM machine bhi McRobertganj se under-construction Chunniganj station ki taraf 'down line' mein tunnel construction ka kaam kar rahi hai. Chunniganj aur Nayaganj station ke beech lagbhag 3 km tunnel construction ka kaam pura ho gaya hai.
